  • Housing Career Development - To increase awareness and develop and implement a program to promote job opportunities within the housing industry. To oversee and direct the Association's Carpentry Training Program.
  • Bowling Night - To provide a fun, social event.
  • Building Codes - Review and monitor changes in Building Codes and work with respective Building Commissioners in all jurisdictions to improve relations with the HBA.
  • Education/Program - Provide for and develop a minimum of four (4) industry related seminars for members. Plan and conduct mini-seminars prior to general membership meetings on various sections of the Industry Standards Manual. Select speakers, as needed for monthly general membership meetings.
  • Golf Outing - To coordinate the annual golf classic.
  • HBA Day at the Reds - To organize an outing for members to a Reds Game.
  • HBA Day at the Bengals - To organize an outing for members to a Bengals Game.
  • Member Services - To interact with new members and help guide them through their first year of membership. Encourage involvement in Association activities and educate new members in the benefits of membership. Administer membership orientation program. Develop and implement program for member retention.
  • Membership - Develop incentive program for recruiting new members. Discuss ways to educate members in membership recruitment.
  • Patron’s Club - To review benefits and levels of donation as well as help solicit funds.
  • Realtor/Builder - To coordinate policies between Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors and HBA. (Must be a builder member to serve on this committee.)
  • Table Top Nite 2006 - To coordinate the annual trade show.
  • Associates Council Charity - To raise funds during the year at various events and to review and distribute those funds to HBA member employees and families in need during the holiday season.

HBA Members Only:
  • Housing
    Monthly magazine mailed to HBA members. Use advertising to reach fellow HBA members.
  • Directory
    Space is available to advertise in the annually published listing of Association members.
  • Table Top Nite Exhibit
    Use a booth at the Association's annual trade show to promote your company's products and services.
  • Direct Mail to all Association members or a particular segment
    Request labels or an electronic file supplied by the HBA to promote your company's products and services to fellow HBA members. Be certain that you are reaching the right audience.
  • Patron's Club or Success Club Sponsorship
    Use a sponsorship opportunity to be recognized by fellow members. With sponsorship your company receives additional exposure in Housing and at events.
