Cincinnati, OH, September 1, 2022: Local high school and university students worked together to bring a special touch to this year’s HOMEARAMA® show. Thanks to student builders from Great Oaks Career Campuses, show attendees will be able to enter to win a set of four Adirondack chairs. The students also built a super-sized Adirondack chair, perfect for photo-ops. The larger-than-life chair was hand-painted with scenes of Loveland by a University of Cincinnati student artist.

“We’re so excited to work with the next generation of home builders who are training for careers in construction at Great Oaks,” said Lora Brand, executive director of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati. The Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati presents the HOMEARAMA® show each year. This year’s show takes place in ChimneyRidge, a community located just one mile from downtown Loveland, September 3rd through the 18th.

The four hand-built chairs and a firepit are being given away through a drawing held during the show in September. Show attendees who vote for their favorite HOMEARAMA® show home using one of the on-site kiosks will be entered for a chance to win the prize package.

An oversized Adirondack chair will be a fun spot for selfies and group photos at the HOMEARAMA® show. Great Oaks students built the chair at the Scarlet Oaks campus, which will be painted by UC student Taylor Helms.

“We’re also excited about the super-sized chair that will be a gathering spot at the show,” Brand said. “The chair will be perfect for taking Instagram photos with family and friends.” This chair, also constructed by Great Oaks students at Scarlet Oaks, features the HOMEARAMA® 2022 theme #BuildLove, and was painted by University of Cincinnati/DAAP student, Taylor Helms. The oversized chair will continue to #BuildLove after the show: It will be donated to the city of Loveland to be displayed in a community park.

“HOMEARAMA® celebrates community and having this opportunity to work with local schools and talented students is a wonderful way to strengthen community bonds,” Brand said. “We’re sure the lucky winner will be so excited to bring these chairs home and enjoy them with their friends and neighbors, too.”

The chairs and firepit set also follow a popular trend in outdoor living. Each year, show visitors look forward to seeing the gorgeous outdoor spaces in the show homes that typically feature a fireplace or firepit, dining and seating areas and outdoor kitchens.

HOMEARAMA® will be held September 3-18, 2022. Show hours are Monday-Thursday, 4 to 9 p.m., Friday-Sunday, noon to 9 p.m. and Labor Day, noon to 9 p.m. Tickets are available for $20 each at the gate. Discount tickets are available online at www.CincyHomearama.com or on the Cincinnati HOMEARAMA® app for $19 each. A special two-day ticket will be available for $30 at the gate only. Children 12 and under are admitted for free if accompanied by an adult.
