Testimonials
Here's what our members have to say about the HBA in their own words:
The Greater Cincinnati Home Builders Association is by far the best place to keep informed about what is happening in the housing industry. As important as it is to know what may be changing that can affect our ability to do business, the ability to work together to affect change to preserve and promote our industry is something no one business can accomplish alone. Education, Advocacy and Networking are the focus points of this organization. For me it is hard to think of a successful business model that would not include our HBA.
Tim Burgoyne, Hal Homes, Inc.
I was a member at the HBA for several years before really getting involved. First I served on a committee, then I chaired a committee, and then I was asked to join the Board of Directors. Since joining the board, I have made more meaningful contacts than I could have anywhere else. From the inside it is easy to see what the HBA does for our industry and for all of our companies. What you put in to the HBA you will get back many times over- I encourage everyone to “come on in” and see what the HBA can do for them.
Carolyn Rolfes, President, Potterhill Homes, LLC
I have been involved with the HBA of Greater Cincinnati for the last 8 years, most recently as president of the Sales and Marketing Council as well as serving on the Board of Directors for 2 years. The experience was tremendous in that not only was it a great educational opportunity for me but an outstanding networking opportunity as well. I now consider many of the HBA home builders as not only my clients, but also as great friends.
Kevin O’Connell, Sales Vice President, Union Savings Bank
My membership and involvement in the Home Builder's Association of Greater Cincinnati has helped me develop many valuable relationships with others who are in our industry. Those relationships have helped me and our business grow from the sharing of ideas that has taken place over the last several years. In addition, I have gained a tremendous amount of insight and knowledge about issues that are going on within our industry both locally and nationally and how our business will be impacted by these issues. In looking back on my decision to join the HBA, I can truly say that it has been one the best business decisions I have made in my 28 year career in this industry.
Mike Hoffmaster, Mid-West Region President, Maronda Homes of Ohio, Inc.

In these trying times it is important that we align ourselves with professionals who are committed to their careers and our industry. Membership in the HBA has provided this for me. I appreciate staying up to date on industry trends and issues. as well as having education opportunities to enhance the professionalism of myself and my employees. I also enjoy the networking opportiunities and best practice sharing that I simply could not receive outside of this organization.
