Members of the HBA of Greater Cincinnati are experts on a wide array of home projects, materials, and services. And our builder members (builders, remodelers, and developers) are required to adhere to strict construction performance standards and provide at least a one-year warranty on all work. They must also agree to participate in a consumer conciliation process to resolve workmanship quality issues

Our guest speaker, Mike Venerable, has three decades of experience as founder/entrepreneur and venture investor. He co-founded his first company, bootstrapping it to a successful exit in 1998 to an IPO-track software company. After his software industry career, he spent 17 years at CincyTech, leading more than 80 concept stage investments across domains. These investments helped transform the Cincinnati region's startup economy, attracting more than $1 billion in venture capital and generating more than $1B in exits to date. Today, Mr. Venerable now advises existing and emergent companies and is working on a few new projects in the capital and entrepreneurial space. He is a native of Southwest Ohio, attended the University of Dayton, and is a US Army veteran.
